NEW ACT COLLEGE TEST PREP CLASS STARTS IN APRIL

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN - LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

 IH PTSA, in partnership with locally-owned SATPrep.org, is offering an affordable review class at IHS to help your student obtain optimal test results. Perfect for those juniors taking the June 10, 2017 ACT exam.

ACT Course - April 22, 29 May 6, 13, 20, 27 - 9:30am to 12:15pm Issaquah High School.

Registration Deadline: April 19th 2017

$349 for 16.5 hours classroom instruction by WA-state certified teachers who have over 10 years’ experience teaching test prep classes.  Students will learn testing techniques, time management during test and will be reviewing plenty of example questions.  

ACT prep classes include:
2 math sessions
1 science session 
3 language sessions
All course materials included 

Sophomores may wish to consider this class. Getting a jump start on college test preparations may reduce junior year stress!

SENIOR FAREWELL EVENT - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

PARENTS WITH SENIORS AND/OR JUNIORS!  
Plans are starting to roll for the Senior Farewell event being held Friday, June 9th in the Gym. We are looking for volunteers to assist with set up, clean up, audio/visual experience, and putting together a slide presentation. Junior parents are welcome to join as it is traditional for the Junior parents to help with serving the dessert following the event in the commons. GOODBYE, OFFICER DIEGO!

PTSA wished Diego Zanella a bittersweet farewell as Friday, February 3rd was his last day as the IHS School Resource Officer. But we offered our sincerest congrat-ulations on his well-deserved promotion to Corporal Detective for the Issaquah Police Department.  All the best, Diego!

PTSA MEETING COMING SOON

You are invited to our March general membership PTSA meeting on Friday, March 10th at 9:30 a.m. (coffee, snacks, and social at 9:30). The meeting will have speakers including Andrea McCormick (IHS principal), Officer Diego (School Resource Officer for IHS), and Erin Connolley (ASB director).  Find out what is happening around school this year, and learn more about the IHPTSA programs you support. The meetings are a great way to connect with other parents/guardians at the school.

DON'T MISS SIGNING UP FOR SENIOR ALL-NIGHT PARTY

What is it?  It is the safe, sober and fun way to celebrate with the IHS Class of 2017!  This all-inclusive party moves through multiple local venues complete with food and TONS of entertainment!  The fun begins at 11PM on June 12, 2017 – Graduation night when our graduates hop on buses and are driven to the first of their “secret” locations for a night of festivities – they won’t want to miss out on their last night together as the Class of 2017!

When?  11PM – 5AM, the night of Graduation, June 12, 2017.

Cost?  The current cost is $180 for this all-inclusive night, which includes: transportation to multiple fun-filled, activity-packed SECRET venues, entertainment, activities, games, prizes, dinner, breakfast and FUN, FUN, FUN all night long!
